The Costa del Sol resort has ordered tourists to 'dress completely' and adhere to a strict new public dress code or risk being fined - with a warning to Brits
UK holidaymakers soaking up the sun in Spain's Costa del Sol have been told to 'dress completely' and follow a new public dress code or face being hit with a fine.
The city is now decked out with posters showing the appropriate attire for tourists. The campaign material features sketches of a man and a woman dressed in t-shirts, urging visitors to dress 'for respect and hygiene' both on the streets and in public areas. Local protesters calling for stricter regulations on tourism in Spain have been sharing images of holidaymakers on social media without their consent to mock them. As reported by The Olive Press, one 'Guiris Go Home' page shared a photo of three friends walking through the city topless after it was made illegal last year.
Rule amendments, primarily targeting hen and stag dos, now forbid folk from hauling inflatable sex dolls or wearing garments that insinuate human genitalia.
