Justin Carter dead: Singer, 35, dies after accidentally shooting himself
The up-and-coming Country star was filming a music video when he discharged his gun by mistake, piercing his eye and head.Justin's mum Cindy McClellen told Fox News the devastating incident occurred on Sunday, not long before he was about to head off on a 10-state tour.“He had a Bible in his room, in the den, he had one in his truck. He gave to charities.Justin was also a loving father to two daughters, Dixie and Kaylee.
McClellen emotionally revealed that her son primarily wanted to succeed in music in order to "take care of his family".A post on his Instagram and Facebook told fans: Please keep Justin’s family in your prayers and give them privacy in this hard time. His management heartbreakingly added: "Justin had a potential to –you know, in our eyes, and a lot of people's eyes – to be the next Garth Brooks."
