A 100-year-old couple who were married for 79 years died just hours apart in the same hospice

June and Hubert Malicote, from Ohio, US, were married for nearly eight decades and had three children together including seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

This led to his dad becoming heartbroken who "broke down" after seeing his beloved wife's health deteriorate, according to Sam."He fell apart, really," Sam admitted. On November 30 at around 9pm, Hubert sadly died in his sleep and his son Sam believes it was due to a "broken heart."Sam said: "They went out together. I feel sad, but I shouldn’t.

He said: "We didn’t go through life without problems, but we would never do anything to hurt each other. "You never want to hurt the one you love. Put them first, above your own feelings. If you have difficulties, work them out. I would say don't go to bed mad."
