Two men in a stolen pickup truck attacked the couple with AK-47 guns before carjacking their at the pump, police say
HOUSTON, Texas -- A couple was carjacked at a gas station Saturday in north Harris County, according to the Houston Police Department.
At about 11: 30 p.m. two men in a stolen pickup truck stopped on Aldine Westfield Road and July Street carrying AK-47 guns, police said. The suspects opened fire on the couple while they were at the gas pumps and pulled them out of their black Chevy Tahoe. The husband was struck in the head and and taken to a nearby hospital. It is unclear if his head wound was from a gunshot or being hit, police say.HPD then turned the case over to the Harris County Sheriff's Office since the incident occurred in their jurisdiction.
