A British couple ‘almost had their holiday ruined’ after they were charged £600 for two smoothies and a bowl of pasta at a bar in Greece. The couple are warning people not to make their mistake by falling for the ‘sunbed scam’.
Oscar said: "Then they brought the menu over. It was misleading to say the least. My boyfriend had the lobster pasta. They brought us the biggest lobster, it was a pasta but with the whole part of a lobster.”Speaking to the Mirror, he continued: "It was a big bit,I thought it may cost a lot, but I never thought that much." They said the pasta "wasn't that bad" - but not worth £344.
"I was p***ed off for the rest of the day and it almost ruined my holiday. I would never go there. I would never recommend it," he added. In reviews online, fellow holidaymakers have made their views clear on the eatery.
