A couple who gave their child an "extravagant" Disney-inspired name have revealed they were cruelly mocked for their decision by online trolls. Jade Jeans and her husband, Joshua, shared a deep love for the magical animation films.
The internet was left divided after the announcement of the unique Disney-themed name. Molly-Mae claimed she'd had her heart set on the name 'Bambi' since she was a young girl and warned fans that while some people would love it others would definitely not be so keen. The surprised reactions began at St. Michael's Hospital shortly after their daughter's arrival when nurses on the maternity ward shared their shock over the unusual choice. It wasn't just the nurses that found the name odd as Jade received backlash from strangers online after innocently sharing a post on a parenting Facebook page.
