“We’ve literally started from nothing, but this fact makes us appreciate even more, what we have and who we are today.” Alex is now considered one of Ireland’s top male models and his work on the catwalk is helping him pay the rent in Dublin, as he strives to take his fashion label to the top.“Modelling with Assets is helping me to pay the rent and the guidance Derek has given us with our brand is invaluable, Ana designs and I do all the tech end.”Alex said: “I could survive in my country, but I couldn’t make a life over there, slowly in Ireland we are reaching our goal, we are eternally grateful to the Irish.
“It’s a slowly evolving process, we have an awful lot of first generation kids who grew up in Ireland but their parents are half Romanian, Half Icelandic, half Irish, so you get all these unusual mixtures.
