In a separate incident in Watford by The Dome roundabout a lane has been closed due to flooding where the A405 meets the A41.
Herts Police warned it has received several reports of flooding across the county - particularly in east Herts - and urged people to plan ahead before travelling. ❗❗ We have received several reports of flooding across the county, in particular East Herts, this afternoon . Motorists are advised to take extra care on the roads and allow more time for journeys. Please do not attempt to drive through flood water.
