Several roads have been shut as about 30 firefighters tackle a blaze in the east end of Glasgow.
Emergency crews have been deployed to the NWH waste collection site in the east end of GlasgowAbout 30 firefighters were sent to the blaze at the NWH waste collection site on Nuneaton Street, near the junction with London Road at about 02:30.Parts of Nuneaton Street, Dalmarnock Road, London Road and the Clyde Gateway have been shut.Glasgow City Council has urged drivers to avoid the area, with reports of heavy smoke.
A police spokesperson said: "Following a fire at a recycling centre in Nuneaton Street in the east end of Glasgow, a number of roads remain closed with diversions in place. "No-one has been injured and we continue to support the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service as they manage this complex fire."
