CRICKET LEGEND Courtney Walsh is be centre of attention again on June 27, when Northamptonshire Country Cricket ground will stage an evening with cricket legend Courtney, hosted by Caribbean restaurant Blue Mountain Yard. What makes Courtney Walsh unique is he was coming up at a time where the West Indies weren’t short of talent. He wasn’t always the first choice, but he was given a role and he made that role his own and absolutely excelled at it
After we’ve been fed and watered, Courtney will give a talk and answer some questions. He will take us down memory lane, give us a bit of insight into him, his career, etc.I’m a cricket fan and I grew up watching Courtney Walsh and the West Indies team lead the charge. Wherever possible, I’m always eager to have them come and tell their stories. The evening series allows us fans a greater look and thinking behind the sports personality.
