Lewis Crocker and Paddy Donovan came face to face at the final press conference ahead of their world title eliminator fight
Something quite simply has to give when the super confident pair of Lewis Crocker and Paddy Donovan step foot in the ring this weekend.
Donovan is going into the lion's den to face Sandy Row native Crocker in his hometown, but the Limerick southpaw's coach Andy Lee is confident the 26-year-old will thrive in such conditions. Donovan got a glimpse of what he will face on Saturday night when promoter Eddie Hearn asked how many fans at Wednesday's press conference were supporting him compared to Croker.
"Since I turned pro with Andy back in 2019 the goal was to be a world champion, no matter the opponents that got put in front of me, Lewis or anybody else," said Donovan. "I've got a job to do on Saturday and I'm very, very focused on getting it done."
