Tacos for everyone
The county's first-ever Taco Bell has opened on Rigby Road in Blackpool and hoards of eager customers waited for the doors to open on launch day. Anticipation and excitement has been mounting in recent weeks since the opening date of June 22 was finally announced.
The restaurant has two floors, with a large upstairs seating area to sit up to 52 diners, which is bright and colourful with floor-to ceiling windows, neon tubed lighting and offers of view of Blackpool FC's stadium, Bloomfield Road. There's a drive-thru function, digital self-order screens and a ground-floor table reserved for disabled customers.
"We're really hoping it's going to be big. It's such a vibrant, different brand that caters for all - families, young people and the older generation. People think it is spicy but it's not, it doesn't have to be."The menu features, you guessed it, plenty of tacos, but that's not all this popular chain has to offer, as one of their best-sellers are the classic quesadillas. While the crunchwrap supreme and chicken burritos are also fan favourites.
