Crysencio Summerville has had to be patient since his summer move from Leeds United
West Ham chief Julen Lopetegui has acknowledged that Crysencio Summerville is knocking on the door for a starting spot. The £25million Leeds United import made an impact as a sub, netting his debut goal for the Hammers in their 2-1 victory over Manchester United.
"The important thing is that Crys is working well and he is ready to help the team. I think he is doing well. He has played good matches with us." However, the Hammers will miss another high-profile signing as German forward Niclas Fullkrug remains out with a calf injury that has troubled him since August. "Fullkrug is not ready to play, he’s working, he’s recovering, we don’t have one date," the Spanish manager added.
