A crash near a Camp Hill district elementary school had school administration and teachers activating safety protocols until the situation was sorted out.

In a letter to parents, Camp Hill School District Superintendent Daniel Serfass said a vehicle hit parked cars on 23rd Street around 11:15 a.m., leading to the entrance of Eisenhower Elementary School’s rear parking lot. The vehicle then drove through the cable barricades between the school’s two lots.
However, as the incident played out, 4th graders were in the cafeteria eating lunch and some saw the vehicle through the windows, Serfass said.
