The Broadwood side were clawed back as they slipped behind leaders East Kilbride
Ten-man Cumbernauld Colts made it six games unbeaten in all competitions after being held to a draw by local rivals Albion Rovers.
Cameron Dickson saw red heading into the final 10 minutes for a second bookable offence, but Colts clung on to keep their recent streak going. Colts named the same side that defeated Gala Fairydean Rovers 4-1 in their last outing a fortnight ago. Colts called Ross Connelly into action in the Rovers goal, with a couple of efforts from distance that he was equal to, as the sides sized each other up.
Colts almost added a second moments later when a cheeky lob from Billy Mortimer looked set to loop over Connelly, before Corrie Fellows got back to clear. Four minutes before the break, Colts came close to adding a second. Cole McIntyre got the break of a long ball, nipped it through the legs of Alan Reid on the edge of the box and arrowed a low strike just past the post, as Rovers breathed a sigh of relief going into half-time.
