During “Adoptober,” as it is affectionately called, residents can play a Halloween-themed Plinko style game where they could win adoption fees between $30 and $50, rather than the regular $95.
Kane is a 1-year-old Black Labrador Retriever available for adoption at the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter, as of Oct. 6, 2022. Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter is offering reduced adoption fees throughout October, in celebration of Adopt a Shelter Dog month.
Fees include spay or neuter services, vaccines, a 2022 dog license, microchip and current rabies tag. Partner Ken Ganley Subaru of Bedford will also donate $100 per adoption to the shelter’s Best Friends Medical Relief Fund. “The shelter has maintained a high number of dogs in our care this year, so we have many wonderful pets still looking for new homes,” Shelter Administrator Mindy Naticchioni said.The shelter is open to the public Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Available pets can be viewed atIf you purchase a product or register for an account through one of the links on our site, we may receive compensation.
