A cyclist has died following a collision involving a truck and an e-bike on the Dolphin's Barn Bridge in Dublin on Monday, November 6.
Gardaí attended the scene of the incident, which occurred at approximately 12.30pm on Monday afternoon, where the cyclist was taken to St James's Hospital with serious injuries and later pronounced deceased.
The road was closed for a significant time following the incident, eventually reopening just before 6pm."Gardaí attended the scene of a fatal road traffic collision involving a truck and an e-bike that occurred at approximately 12:30pm on Monday 6th November 2023 on the Dolphin's Barn Bridge in Dublin 8.
"The cyclist was taken to St James's Hospital with serious injuries and they were later pronounced deceased. No other injuries to persons was reported."The Dolphin's Barn Bridge was closed for a time in order for a technical examination to be conducted by Forensic Collision Investigators. The road has since reopened.
