He might have taken it a step too far with his private ‘Lady In Red’ performance for the newly-engaged couple, but Chris de Burgh has said he will spare no expense to see his daughter Rosanna Davison tie the knot in style next year.
Chris took to Facebook yesterday and said: “Many thanks for all your good wishes for my daughter Rosanna and Wes Quirke, who announced their engagement yesterday, on the beautiful island of Mauritius… so romantic!!” He tweeted: “A beautiful golden sunset has merged with the pinks and reds of dusk, made even better with a chilled Gin and Tonic with feet in the warm sand and the ocean gently lapping against toes..a dream!!”The De Burgh’s have taken their annual break on the Indian Ocean island every Christmas and New Year for the past 18 years.
Rosanna laughed when asked would her dad be performing at the wedding and said, “I’m sure there will be a song or two! He’s so happy and excited for us, he’s thrilled.”
