Doctors considered putting him in an induced coma

A Northampton dad-of-two was "sent home from hospital with the flu" but actually had a chronic lung condition. after battling with illness over the festive period.

"Eight days later, he was rushed the to A&E resuscitation unit again only to be told his right lung had filled with pus." The father-of-two, who has two daughters named Emmy Rae, 4, and Millie Mae, 1, is self-employed which left the family struggling to cope. "She is back to work working three days a week trying to provide for them and having to find babysitters for each of the days. It has been hard with Brandon being at home self-employed not working. He will be out of work for a while to recover."

"We didn’t expect to see him fighting for his life and he actually had a boxing match a few weeks before he become poorly. He has chosen the boxing path which he was training so hard for.
