Duane Spooner chased a 'threatening' home invader with a pair of kitchen knives and was arrested himself after calling 999
People struggled to understand why a dad defending his home against an aggressive intruder was nearly sent to prison while the man who intimidated his partner had all charges dropped.
He and Zoe could then be seen running back to their own property as the man, dressed in a yellow high visibility jacket, pursued them. The couple then called 999. Officers later showed up and arrested Mr Spooner, a rapper who is originally from the USA but who now lives in New Brighton, a decision ECHO readers are calling a "disgraceful" in our comments section.
