A dad who died suddenly while walking in the Lake District with friends has been named as Dave Rushworth.
Since his death, tributes have poured in for Dave. His friend has since set up a fundraiser to help cover the funeral costs. "We were having a nice walk up a mountain on Saturday, the weather was lovely, Rushy was laughing and joking and telling us his conspiracy theories! Unfortunately, as we got close to the top Rushy dropped to the floor and he was unresponsive.
"He loved them all so much. He will leave this world with a lot of broken hearts. Everyone has a story about him, he always made people laugh even at the most inappropriate times. One of Dave's daughters, Becci Rushworth, posted: "No words can describe the devastating news we received on Saturday that our dad, partner, brother, grandad and uncle Dave Rushworth had suddenly passed away, doing something he loved at least.
