Lionel Messi pauses for photos with Dallas players as they queue up for special moment with Argentine
FC Dallas players have proved it's not just Major Soccer League fans that are thrilled Lionel Messi is playing in America.
Following Inter Miami's 4-4 draw and subsequent penalty shootout win in the Leagues Cup, Dallas' stars put the loss aside and all flocked towards the 2022 World Cup winner.Who all wanted a photo of the moment they played against one of the world's bestThe Argentine happily obliged, but looked rather stunning as his post-match handshakes turned into posing with each of the Dallas stars.But, who can blame them, given just how good Messi has been since he landed on the east coast.
As well as opening the scoring in the sixth minute, he stole headlines again when he scored a late equaliser through aMiami ended up winning the game on penalties, with Messi netting one of them. The Barcelona legend now has an impressive seven goals in just four Leagues Cup games, including his two against FC Dallas.
