Top of the table Shels were held at home by ninth place Drogheda last night.
Damien Duff has said his Shelbourne team no longer merit their status as league leaders after dropping points yet again last night.
“I was really disappointed with our application and our intent in that period. I have said it many times, if you are any way off, you won't win games in this league. “My biggest takeaway from this is application, application, it hurts me and it makes me really angry.” Duff said: “Was it a case of ‘it's Drogheda, we're going to batter them'. We're not good enough to disrespect teams. Fact.
“That's my biggest anger tonight and it's something I have aimed at the guys over the last couple of years, if it's not a Dublin derby, and you're slightly off, you will never get anywhere with that attitude.
