Despite that, the Toffees boss will not have a blank chequebook in next month’s transfer window as the new owners look to manage the club’s financial situation after last season’s points deduction.Throughout his managerial career, Dyche has shown he knows how to keep clubs in the Premier League, both while in his current role on Merseyside and during his time at Burnley.
So with Everton still seemingly treading something of a financial tightrope it makes a lot of sense for him to be kept around for the time being at the very least.They are not out of this season’s relegation battle by a long way so it makes sense to stick with a manager who clearly knows how to guide them to safety in the circumstances.
It would obviously be a major gamble for Everton to change manager as well given there is no guarantee his replacement would be a success either. Having lost just two of their last 11 games as well, there seems to be little reason to sack him right now, so making that change may not be the best first impression for Friedkin to make now the deal is done.
