Former UFC champion Usman's account showed a series of posts aimed at McGregor ahead of his return to the Octagon
Dana White has revealed that he was forced to make a frantic pre-fight phone call to Conor McGregor over Kamaru Usman's 'hacked' tweets.The first read: "Let's be real, my man [Conor McGregor] is a f****** Irish punk who won't be winning today" which seemed out of place given the fighter's usual demeanour.
But subsequent tweets which took aim at the Dubliner and his family made it clear Usman's account had been hacked, something later confirmed by his team. They read: "Conor McGregor is a Irish pussy, n**** I'll f*** your wife while slapping the f*** outta you punk.The hacker then proceeded to post pictures which appeared to show Usman's bank balance is close to $500,000.White said: "I phoned Conor and said don't do anything, don't react."The first thing I did was to tell Conor; he didn't believe he was hacked.Irishman McGregor took just 40-seconds to beat Cerrone at UFC 246 - his first victory in three years.
