Rock was hosting this year's Academy Awards in Hollywood but a joke made about Smith's wife Jada prompted him to get up out of his seat and hit him across the face in front of a stunned audience in attendance and around the world.Smith trotted back down to his seat as if nothing had happened, with Rock saying,"Will Smith just smacked the s**t out of me.""I'm going to," said Rock, who had made reference to Jada's hair with a G.I. Jane jibe.
