Dancing with the Stars celebrates Eurovision Week with a special episode featuring couples dancing to iconic Eurovision songs. The competition heats up as the two couples with the lowest combined scores face off in the first dance-off of the season.
Eurovision fever will continue to dominate our screens on RTÉ One this weekend, as following the selection of the 2025 Irish Eurovision entry on Friday night's The Late Late Show,Dancing with the Stars will pay homage to some of the contest’s most iconic songs on Sunday evening.
Comedian Gearóid Farrelly and his pro dancer partner Stephen Vincent will perform Contemporary Ballroom to Gearóid’s friend and podcast co-host, Niamh Kavanagh’s 1993 winning Irish entry In Your Eyes . There will be extra pressure on Gearóid, as Niamh plans to watch his performance from the front row in studio.
Social media star Kayleigh Trappe and, her partner Ervinas Merfeldas as they dance the Samba to the 2018 contest runner-up from Cyprus, Fuego by Eleni Foureira. Former Miss Universe Ireland, Aishah Akorede and Robert Rowiński will perform Charleston to the United Kingdom’s 1996 classic, Ooh Aah… Just a Little Bit by Gina G.
