The Met Office has issued an update
An amber weather warning has been issued for Sunday as temperatures continue to soar. The Met Office has said there is a danger to life as most of the country sees exceptionally high temperatures.
There is a risk of temperatures causing potentially serious illness or danger to life. And 999 services should only be used for emergencies and 111 be contacted for non-emergency health advice, officials said.The Met Office has also warned of substantial changes in working practices and daily routines. Delays on roads and road closures are possible as well as delays and cancellations to rail and air travel.
