Daniel Gee was arrested in Wigan
Merseyside Police has issued a new image of Daniel Gee following his arrest which shows the fugitive smiling.
The ECHO understands Gee was found in the New Springs, near Aspull, area of the Greater Manchester town. A spokesperson for Merseyside Police today told the ECHO Gee is currently in police custody and will be returned to prison.READ MORE: Daniel Gee arrested just 20 miles from Liverpool Gee was seriously injured after being shot by Starkey, which happened outside an Anfield pub in the early hours, with one of the bullets piercing his stomach and lung before going out his back. In a trial in October 2009, Gee was found guilty of two counts of threats to kill and another two of blackmail.
