Daniel O'Donnell has paid tribute to Majella's late mother, Marion Roche who sadly passed away on Monday night.

The care and compassion shown to Marion and indeed her family was second to none.
He went on to say: “Our thanks also to all the staff at Galway University Hospital for their care of Marion during her recent stay there. “Marion was a beautiful person. Many who met her often referred to her as ‘A Lady’. I was blessed to have her as my mother-in-law.Other musicians shared their condolences, with Mairead Carlin writing: “So sorry to hear this Daniel. Sending love and prayers to you all x.”
“Sorry to hear the sad news Daniel. Condolences to Magella and all the family. Lee,” Lee Matthews wrote. It was actually Marion and her husband, Tom who introduced Daniel to Majella in the bar they owned in Mallorca.
