He thanked fans for their support during the difficult time
His sister, Kathleen, sadly passed away earlier this year from a suspected heart attack.A month later, the singer shared a heartfelt message to those who supported him during the difficult time.
“Heartfelt thanks to those who provided our family with support during this sad and difficult time, to all who attended the wake or funeral and to those who sent mass or sympathy cards, phone calls, flowers and messages. “Thanks to John Paul and Lee for helping with the parking, Fr Pat Ward for getting to the house so quickly that morning and for being a great support to us over the course of the wake and funeral.”The statement continued: “Thank you to Fr Aodhan Cannon, Fr Nigel Gallagher, Fr Brian D’Arcy and Fr John Joe Duffy for concelebrating the funeral mass with Fr Pat, to all those who took part in the funeral mass to make it a very special service.
“Thanks also to Pat The Cope Gallagher for his assistance and a special thanks to the 2 guards who helped with traffic the morning of the funeral. Garda Peter McGee and Garda Marcus O Dowd.”
