Daniel Radcliffe has admitted that he had a hand in fueling rumors about his casting as Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Played by Hugh Jackman since the year 2000, Wolverine/Logan is one of the most popular Marvel Comics characters, and viewers grew to love Jackman's portrayal over the course of the X-Men films.

Radcliffe's version of the character could have played up traits from the comics that Jackman's Wolverine eventually outgrew in some ways, such as his ferocity, unpredictability, and wild nature.
