Irish Olympians were welcomed home by thousands of cheering fans in Dublin on Monday
Daniel Wiffen believes his twin brother Nathan could join him on the podium at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
"Me obviously on the gold one, he can have the silver! But it will be a great one in four years time." Three athletes retained their Olympic titles from the Tokyo games: Skibbereen rowers Paul O’Donovan and Fintan McCarthy in the men’s lightweight double sculls; and Dubliner Kellie Harrington in the women’s 60kg boxing event.
Speaking to thousands of supporters at the event, Harrington described the support of her home country as “just fantastic”.
