EXCLUSIVE: Former EastEnders actress Danniella Westbrook has revealed she was rushed to hospital with an open wound on her head days after undergoing surgery in Turkey
Danniella Westbrook has revealed she was rushed to hospital just days after undergoing her fifth facial reconstruction surgery in Turkey with a hole in the side of her head.
Taking to Instagram Stories at the time, Danniella, who has exclusively revealed her regret after going under the knife, explained she was experiencing "unreal" pain, admitting it's been a "frightening" few days. Danniella explained that she could feel her stitches "almost bursting on my head" during the flight home, adding: "It wasn’t until I was washing my hair that I realised the stitches had come undone and I had an open wound.
She continued: "I went to a private hospital in Portugal to get it checked. They were shocked at the state I was in. But they’ve given me some antibiotics and have advised me to let it heal. It has been a living nightmare.Four weeks on from the operation, Danniella’s bandages are now off and the swelling has gone down.
