Danny Jones has been a well-known celebrity for years, skyrocketing to fame as part of band McFly in the 2000s. More recently, he was a firm favourite on last year's series of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! and was crowned King of the Jungle.
Here, we've taken a look at how he met his wife Georgia and their life with son Cooper as well as his health battle in the past.After becoming deaf in her right ear following a bout of meningitis as a two-year-old, she worked as a florist and a model during her youth. She aimed to be a make-up artist in the media but her life changed in 2007 when she won Miss England. Later she entered Miss World and was one of the last 18 finalists during the China-held contest. She spoke about her time competing in pageants to the Yorkshire Post in 2013, saying: “I have never regretted entering Miss England, in fact I think it was one of the best things I have ever done. Not only did I have an amazing time, but it really opened a lot of doors for me.” Relationship Danny and Georgia met for the first time at an event in 2009, but Georgia repeatedly turned down his offers to take her on a date for a year. Eventually, she gave in and took a chance on him - saying in an interview recently that she "didn’t really want to" go on their first date but her mum convinced her otherwise. The date obviously went well as they got into a relationship, with Danny proposing in 2013 while they were on a romantic holiday in Cyprus. They married the next August and the guests included Ellie Goulding, who sang her hit How Long Will I Love You? for the couple's first dance, while Danny's McFly bandmates also performed. Son Cooper Danny and Georgia welcomed their son, Cooper Alf Jones on January 27, 2018. Both of them share photos of Cooper on their social media often. Danny's reconstructive surgery In 2021, the McFly star suffered an agonising injury when he tore his ACL, also known as the anterior cruciate ligament. This is the ligament in the centre of the knee that prevents the shin bone from moving forward on the thigh bone. He underwent knee surgery to repair his ACL and meniscus in order to help him fully recover and deal with the pain.After the operation, he wrote on social media: “Knee Surgery update- all went well and I’m at home recovering thanks for all the messages.”
