Danny O'Carroll says his dad Brendan is his biggest supporter during his time on Dancing With The Stars and reveals the emotional journey they've been on together. Danny has been wowing audiences every Sunday night and says making his family proud is what keeps him going. Tonight is Dedicated Dance Week and Danny has chosen to pay homage to Brendan.

It was quite overwhelming, it was nearly like winning the show because nobody had gotten such high scores that early in the competition before.
He said: “Immediately I wanted to pick my dad. When you love somebody so much and you’ve told them so many times, you find different ways to express your love – getting the opportunity to do it through dance is something quite special. You want to nail it for them. “I am used to the distance, but I still miss him like crazy. I last saw him at Christmas and haven’t seen him since,” he said.“I could sit here all day and give you every compliment under the sun and nothing would come close to what he means to me. He is the most amazing human.”
