All DART and train lines between Raheny and Connolly Station were suspended on Wednesday morning due to a “tragic incident” at Killester railway station.
A shuttle service was placed in operation between Howth and Howth Junction to help commuters get to their destinations, with Dublin Bus accepting rail tickets for anyone who was caught in the disruption. A statement from Irish Rail confirmed the incident: “All DART and Commuter services suspended between Raheny and Dublin Connolly due to a tragic incident, emergency services attending.Gardaí also confirmed that an incident at Killester railway station caused services to be suspended on Wednesday, adding that no more information was available.
