Daughter of man whose body found in derelict Cork house appeals for killer to give himself up
The daughter of a man whose dismembered body was found in a derelict house in Cork city in late December has appealed to the killer to give himself up.The body was found under a bush at the back of the house. The arms and legs were found in another part of the property. A murder investigation is underway.
“It is hard to accept the death of a loved one especially when we did not get to say goodbye. My dad was taken so suddenly and so shockingly. The grief and pain is unbearable - I hope the person responsible is caught and justice is served for such an horrific crime. In the aftermath of the murder the Dunne family set up a Go Fund Me page which has raised €5000 for the Cork Simon Community.
Frankie Dunne is survived by his children John, Catherine and Chloe, four grand children, five siblings and a large number of nieces and nephews. He also had a large circle of friends within the homeless community in Cork.
