David Beckham praised by family as he queues for 14 hours to see Queen Lying-in-State DavidBeckham
David Beckham has been praised by his family as well as fans after queuing for 14 hours to pay his respects to The Queen as she is Lying-in-State in Westminster Hall.
Dressed in a black suit with a waistcoat, black tie and a baker boy cap, David rocked his usual short beard as he smiled and engaged with those around him. One woman in the queue said to him: "You could have been fast-tracked but you've come to pay your respects like everyone else."People were quick to comment on the video, with one person saying: "What a legend he is".Someone else commented: "Mad respect for respecting the queue".
When David eventually did make it to the front of the queue to see the Queen Lying-in-State, he looked solemn as he bowed his head in respect at the late monarch's coffin, before walking out of the hall and making way for other mourners.
