He explained that she isn’t one to experiment when it comes to the dishes she eats, with one exception in their time together.David appeared on the River Cafe Table 4 Podcast and shared the differences between their diets.
“I get quite emotional about food and wine, when I’m eating something great I want everyone to try it,” he said.He shared: “Since I met her, she only eats grilled fish, and steamed vegetables, she will very rarely deviate from that.” There was one moment when Victoria ate something that David was eating and it was when she was pregnant with their fourth child, daughter Harper.“It was one of my favourite evenings. I can’t remember what it was but I know she’s not eaten it since,” he admitted. Victoria has spoken about her strict eating habits, previously telling Gwyneth Paltrow on the Goop podcast: “I am very strict. For me, being healthy and strict about the way I eat and work out is what I have to do.” More recently, the Spice Girls star told Grazia: “I do like to have a drink and I'm not going to be one of these, 'Ah, there are too many calories in a glass of wine' types. Whatever. Life's too short. Let's have a nice time.”Recalling one of his favourite meals, he said: “I had two of the most amazing cuts of meat. One was a T-bone and I had some English wagyu. “I poured one glass of the most amazing red wine that I treated myself to because I was on my own looking forward to watching the football in the afternoon on my own. I set the barbecue up.”“I had a nice tomato and shallot salad and the meat and a glass of wine and it was the most amazing meal that I had for a long time. Those are my most amazing afternoons and evenings.“I like my meat rare, medium at a push, but more rare and it came out perfect. It was only me in the house so I ate it all.”
