Injury and RTE show appearance David was diagnosed with a torn ACL after getting injured at training last year. He opened up about his experience to presenter Kathryn Thomas on My BodyFix on RTÉ One. "That initial shock of realising that you’re gone for the season, it was heart-breaking really. It’s embarrassing, as some people seem to have me written off already."
