Head coach Slaven Bilic gives updates on the watfordfc injury news ahead of tomorrow’s game with Coventry City

Keinan Davis will be part of the squad for the game with Coventry tomorrow while Hamza Choudhury also returns after serving his one-match suspension.

“Keinan is obviously very important to us. Bayo has had a couple of decent games, lots of running and fighting, and created a couple of chances too. “On paper he is one of the top defenders we have, but unfortunately he can’t get to the fitness level he wants. I trust him, I believe him, but the way the knee has been treated so far hasn’t brought him any closer to the level he wants, and the level that is required.

“Cathcart is getting much better. We didn’t want to go to a position where he could play one game but then miss the next one. So we decided to make a proper break as he is too precious to us. “So we are coping without him for a few games but in the knowledge that he will be fit long term, and hopefully until the end of the season.”

“We’ve had injuries since my first game at Stoke. We had no full-backs on the right, then a shortage of centre backs.
