The TV favourite confirmed the family entertainment show will return to RTÉ for another season despite headlines saying it was being shelved.
Davy told RSVP Magazine: "Ireland’s Fittest Family is coming back. I have a fair idea where that rumour came from and who started it. Coach Anna Geary is pregnant at the moment, will she be back too or will she be taking a break for this season? "She is very competitive, she is smart and she has some drive in her. If she is taking a break this year she will be sorely missed."
"I didn’t know if I would be back or not, but I am really happy that I am. Some people question why I am coaching another county and my point is, do they want me to sit at home and do nothing?
