Davy Fitzgerald has been ratified as the new Antrim senior hurling manager on a two-year term, with the option of a third year, following Monday night’s meeting of the Antrim Executive in Dunsilly.

Antrim’s appointment of Fitzgerald represents a substantial coup for the county after he was also linked with the managerial vacancies in Dublin and Galway. He also had a spell coaching the Cork Camogie team and his appointment as Antrim boss means the 2025 season will be his 17th as a senior inter-county manager.
