After a critical mistake at the round table, Séan A adopted an aggressive 'death or glory' approach in an attempt to hunt down the Traitors. Despite his efforts to prove his innocence, he was ultimately banished from the castle by the rest of the Faithfuls.
Séan A certainly upset the apple cart in Slane Castle on Tuesday night's episode of The Traitors. After defending Traitor Edelle on Monday night and making a slip-up about catching Faithfuls rather than Traitors, his head was on the chopping block.
He failed to prove his innocence to the rest of the Faithfuls and was ultimately banished from the castle. When STELLAR sat down with him, we had to ask what his thought process behind his very aggressive approach was! And simply put, he tells us it was 'death or glory'.
'The way I looked at it, it was death or glory. It really was just death or glory to me. And it turned out to be death,' he tells us. He admits that: 'First two-day version of Sean was me being quiet.
That was a quiet version of me, deliberately trying to keep a low profile, as everybody does, and keep my head down. And then having a big faux pas at the round table, which combined with trying to defend Edelle, but also obviously the tragic slip of the tongue when I said trying to catch faithfuls, which is such a ridiculous thing that you can't really do.
' 'I went back to my room that night and decided I'm going to have to get busy here and start Traitor hunting. I did my whole forensic analysis based on Laura's theory about the traders would have voted for Edelle. And so that narrowed my list. There was only eight of us that voted for DJ,' he explains.
He admits that went through all of the other players and narrowed his list down to Donal and Janet as they 'fitted my completely made-up profile of what the Traitors looked like'.
'I was going to come out swinging, I was going to go with a fight. That was my plan. ' The Traitors continues tonight on RTÉ One at 9:30pm
