The country music legend opens up about having good stories to tell on stage when he is playing a gig and how his age is less relevant today than it was 20 years ago
Country star Declan Nerney has said that music is one part of life where age doesn’t really matter as much.
Declan told RSVP Country: "Just look at Bruce Springsteen playing in Croke Park and Nowlan Park last month, it was one of the best performances of his career. He’s 74 years of age. Reflecting on your life to date, is he where you wanted to be? "It’s where I set out to be and it’s the course that I wanted to follow. If I had to relive it all over again I would do the very same thing.
"You do your job right and you sing your songs the way you want to regardless of the crowd, that’s the way to do it if you want to succeed in this business."He said: "As long as my limbs are good, which they are at the moment, we will keep her lit!"
