When it comes to the unwritten rules of swapping seats on a plane, things can get rather tricky if some people are unwilling to change. Paying extra for a specific seat means most passengers are reluctant to switch for what they perceive as an inferior spot.
The passenger, occupying a coveted bulkhead window seat which provides extra legroom and good views, was seated beside the mum's toddler daughter, with the mum in middle seat of the row behind.
