Delage Has Chopped The Roof Off The D12 Hybrid Hypercar | Carscoops carscoops

unveiled the D12 hypercar back in 2020, launching it exclusively as a Coupe with a fixed roof. Fast forward a couple of years and it has launched two new canopy options for the car, dubbed the Speedster and the F1. As the name of the Speedster implies, it ditches the fixed roof in favor of a simple glass windscreen and to our eyes, makes the car appear even more outlandish. This option will set customers back $190,000.Those in the market for something even more extreme can instead pay $190,000 for the F1 option. This ditches the windscreen entirely and replaces it with a small wind defector and the availability of an F1-inspired halo and a helmet for the driver.
Two different versions of the D12 have been developed. The first is the D12 GT, complete with a 7.6-liter naturally aspirated V12 that pumps out 976 hp at 8,200 rpm and 612 lb-ft of torque at 6,200 rpm. A 109 hp electric motor is also featured, resulting in a combined 1,085 hp and 794 lb-ft . A D12 Club model is also available, complete with the same 7.6-liter V12 but using a smaller 20 hp electric motor for low-speed driving, parking, and reverse.
