The major route into the city will be severely affected for months🚫

This is due to the installation of a new gas pipeline on the Belfast bound carriageway of the A2 Shore Road in Newtownabbey.

According to Trafficwatch NI, the works are taking place from the junction of Station Road and Shore Road to the junction of Glenavna Manor and Shore Road.Work began on Monday and traffic control will operate. The estimated delay time is over 15 minutes.
