THE DEPARTMENT OF Foreign Affairs is in contact with 125 Irish citizens in Sudan, Tánaiste and Foreign Affairs Minister Micheál Martin has said.A boat Saudi citizens and other nationals rescued from battle-scarred Sudan arrived this afternoon in Jeddah, according to Saudi state television, in the first announced evacuation of civilians since fighting began.The Emergency Consular Assistance Team would need to be actioned to evacuate Irish citizens.
